CEMETERY

Evergreen Cemetery located at 1155 Cemetery Rd. is our current beautiful, peaceful resting place for our loved ones.  We have two additional historical cemeteries in the township,  those being Hall Rd. Cemetery at the end of Hall Rd. and Gould Rd. Cemetery located off of Stanhope-Kelloggsville Rd.  We have burials dating back to the 1800's.

Flowers, annual and artificial) need to be removed from the graves before November 1. Also, please examine any figurines, lights, and other décor to make sure it is not broken. 

Pam Hudson, trustee, has taken on the duties of all cemetery business.  She can be reached by cell phone at 440-344-7306.  She is the coordinator of all burials between the township and funeral homes.  If you would like to purchase a cemetery lot or have any questions, please give her a call.

We have noticed that some headstones do not have the death dates engraved on them-this would be for family members who have passed on. AS you go out this spring and plant on your loved ones' graves, please make sure the dates have been added.

Jerry and Bonnie Redmond take care of the flags all summer long at the cemetery-checking them weekly to replace any that are worn or torn.
